Please note, this is a full-time, summer internship that is not eligible for benefits.

Main Objective:

The candidate will obtain a good working knowledge of the expense reconciliation and credit card management process.  Specifically, they will be responsible for Finance administrative tasks including (but not limited to) performing audits, reviewing expense reports, providing end user assistance.  The intern will also manage small projects with the guidance of the team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with data gathering to develop KPI for T&E programs
  • Assist in the day to day maintenance of Corporate Credit Card Reconciliation programs
  • Daily monitoring of expense reporting work queues for stale dated reports, missing/unmatched receipts
  • Communicate and assist with the Arthrex Expense inbox
  • Concur system updates
  • Audit of T&E cards that are not used (Card activity report)
  • Create and update materials used in daily operations for Travel & Expense reporting

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in Business or Finance

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
