Main Objective: Assist the manager of financial reporting in preparing corporate financial statements by completing companywide financial consolidation accurately and support annual financial audit process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly intercompany elimination entries and adjustments
  • Assist in preparation of external reporting schedules to government entities as required.
  • Compile financial information to prepare financial statements for quarterly and annual reporting
  • Interact with external auditors working on the annual audit.
  • Support in tracking of the audit progress
  • Support audits by collecting documents and maintaining files.
  • Support non-routine projects in regards to GL impact and reporting requirements.
  • Support financial reporting manager in developing global accounting policies
  • Ad-hoc projects to improve reporting processes
  • Research new accounting standards, calculation of impacts of proposed regulations, assist in training on new pronouncements

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting required.

A minimum of 3 years of accounting experience required. 

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Knowledge of current US GAAP regulations in regards to financial reporting
  • Ability to think, act, and work independently with high attention to detail and strong problem solving abilities
  • Detail-oriented
  • Excellent organizational, written and verbal communication, and interpersonal skills required
  • Working knowledge of PCs, databases, and general office equipment

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. TM1 experience preferred. Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel formula writing and Macros required.
