Main Objective:

The Senior Business Analyst position works directly with business departments within Arthrex to build and manage a pipeline of Information Technology projects and enhancements with mentorship from the Business Solutions Managers.  A successful candidate must have experience defining and operating business processes in one of the following areas: Customer Service, Technical Support, Repair and Service, Field Service, Legal, Marketing and Sales.  The position liaises with the technical organization to determine the timing and cost of specific projects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Translate business goals and objectives into strategic business capabilities.  
  2. Benchmark current and future processes against best industry practices.
  3. Develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  4. Project Management and mentorship of junior level analysts
  5. Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.
  6. Deploy an appropriate methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements.
  7. Plan and manage user acceptance testing activities.
  8. Accountable for adoption of solutions by sponsoring business departments.
  9. Provide the methodology, standards and tools for efficient and effective program management.
  10. Identify technical functionality that aligns with desired new business capabilities.    
  11. Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.
  12. Up to 30% travel required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or related field required. Masters degree in Business or Engineering preferred
  • At least 8 years experience with the Salesforce.com platform and specifically with Service Cloud
  • Experience with enterprise level Salesforce implementations with at least 3,000 users
  • Previous position in Pharma or Medical Device industry a plus
  • Experience working in a projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure a plus

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant and or Salesforce Administrator Certification required
  • Experience with Agile Software Development methologies
  • Understanding of the major functions in a global organization.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC servers, workstations and laptops. Telecommunication equipment, cell phones and smart phones. Microsoft and Apple environment. Work with standard current computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets and data bases. MS Office, SQL server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, ERP and partner software applications.
