Main Objective:

The Service Operations Analyst position works directly with Service & Repair team at Arthrex to help build and manage the processes and data across the service and repair continuum. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Translate business goals and objectives into strategic business capabilities. 
  • Responsible for creating standard reports & models, conducting ad-hoc analyses and monitoring Service Ops KPIs for Global Operations
  • Provide rigorous analysis to forecast changes in outputs (refunds, cost, productivity, etc.) based on changes in processes, policies, etc.
  • Knowledge of ERP and CRM architecture and data-migration practices
  • Conduct statistical and strategic analysis which includes preparing monthly, quarterly, annual, and on-request reports
  • Assess and validate activities and reports to determine adherence to plan and identify trends.
  • Benchmark current and future processes against best industry practices.
  • Develop a roadmap of projects and initiatives for enablement of new capabilities.
  • Engage in efforts to establish scope and business case for new programs and initiatives.
  • Deploy an appropriate methodology for the identification and documentation of business requirements.
  • Plan and manage user acceptance testing activities.
  • Accountable for adoption of solutions by sponsoring business departments.
  • Provide the methodology, standards and tools for efficient and effective program management.
  • Identify technical functionality that aligns with desired new business capabilities.   
  • Identify opportunities to innovate and differentiate Arthrex from its competition.
  • Up to 20% travel required

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or Computer Science or related field required. Master’s degree in Business or Engineering preferred
  • At least two years’ experience within a business function (Mfg., Supply Chain, Distribution, Finance, HR or Engineering) with business analysis or business process improvement activity required
  • Experience with technical aspects of Salesforce (or other CRM/SMS system), particularly in reporting and hierarchy management required
  • Proficiency in crafting data pulls from both decentralized systems and data warehouse required
  • Strong business application skills including relational databases, Excel, and experience with SQL queries required
  • PM experience and knowledge of IT project rigor preferred
  • Previous involvement in the deployment or optimization of an ERP system a plus
  • Previous position in Pharma or Medical Device industry a plus
  • Experience working in a projects where multiple functions work in a matrix structure a plus

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • In depth knowledge of several business functions and related software applications.  SAP or Oracle preferred.
  • Experience with process improvement techniques and tools. Lean or Six Sigma preferred.
  • Understanding of the major functions in a global organization.
  • Strong communication (written and oral) and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work comfortably at all levels within the organization up to the senior management level.
  • Problem solving and critical thinking skills a must, including the ability to learn new skills and technologies in order to perform advanced analyses

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC servers, workstations and laptops. Telecommunication equipment, cell phones and smart phones. Microsoft and Apple environment. Work with standard current computer applications, such as word processing, spreadsheets and data bases. MS Office, SQL server, Active Directory, MS Exchange, ERP and partner software applications.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
