Regulatory Affairs Data Analyst

Main Objective:

Provide data stewardship, including the maintenance, validation and continuous improvement of SAP master data specific to regulatory activities for Arthrex, Inc.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Creates, maintains, monitors and analyzes master data in SAP and/or other integrated solutions.
  2. Accurately inputs data/uploads of all pertinent information.
  3. Verifies all data elements are correct for data entry or upload.
  4. Logs, tracks and reports on global regulatory submission and licensing data for Regulatory Department marketing authorizations.
  5. Interacts with global system users to ensure and enhance data quality and train users to ensure continuity of results.
  6. Provides creative yet logical approaches to solving data problems utilizing established global and regulatory rules.
  7. Identifies areas of specific master data weakness and suggests methods of improvement
  8. Provides testing support for upgrades and releases, including integration testing from various sources to target systems.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required.
  • 1 year using SAP-ECP preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint); Excel experience required
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills required.
  • Good understanding of fundamental business processes and the effect of data downstream.
  • Strong attention to detail with optimal organizational skills; focus on teamwork and follow-up.
  • Logical, process-based approach to problem solving with an ability to learn and apply new information.
  • Priority setting, organization, and project management skills.
  • Ability to clearly communicate with a positive, professional attitude both in writing and orally.
  • Capacity to work autonomously on multiple initiatives in a lean, fast paced, and action-oriented environment.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment and handle multiple tasks and requests.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC, database, SAP, Agile, MS Office skills.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
