Main Objective:

Create educational content for learning management system with a primary focus on motion graphics and design with a secondary focus on video and audio content editing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create visual images and content to convey a specific message to the audience utilizing scripts provided by the Medical Education department
  • Utilize motion graphics to animate text and images that reinforce the messaging
  • Ensure consistency across projects and between team members according to brand standards
  • Utilize approved digital assets found in the internal digital asset management system and approved sources
  • Incorporate feedback provided by clinical specialists to ensure medical accuracy of content
  • Edit select video content
  • Syncing and mastering audio for final output
  • Able to efficiently create track mattes, 3D camera and lighting effects, complex masking and shot tracking
  • Knowledgeable with industry standards for compression and codecs
  • Maintain project status within the Arthrex workflow management tool
  • Meet regularly with stakeholders to provide project updates
  • Must be able to meet assigned deadlines

Education and Experience:

Associates degree in Illustration, Graphic Design or related Visual Arts field required.  Bachelor’s degree preferred.  Medical knowledge/experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Must be proficient using the Adobe Creative Suite with an emphasis on Premiere, Photoshop, Illustrator and After Effects.  Must also be proficient with Mac OS.  Experience with 3D modeling and animation a plus.  Good communication and organizational skills required for departmental and cross-departmental coordination.  Must be self-motivated with strong, problem-solving capabilities and able to work with minimum supervision.
