This is a day-shift position that will be located at the Arthrex manufacturing facility in Ave Maria, FL.

Main Objective:

Manages the receipt, shipment, internal movement and inventory accuracy of company products and materials.  Manages on-site and off-site inventory. Ensures work instructions and procedures are followed properly by direct reports. Ensures transfer orders and work orders are completed correctly and in a timely manner.  Supervises and directs the activities of Cycle Counters and the Inventory Control Lead.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring all key functions related to inventory transactions to ensure they are accurate and timely.
  • Coordinate daily bin audits to identify and eliminate discrepancies.
  • Report and maintain records of daily bin audits and identify discrepancy trends.
  • Coordinate and identify necessary recounts of inventory.
  • Use root cause analysis techniques to reconcile inventory discrepancies by reviewing SAP transactions.
  • Perform inventory adjustments in SAP within defined dollar limits to correct discrepancies.
  • Report inventory shortage adjustments to Production Planning and Purchasing to avoid stock-outs, manufacturing stoppage, and customer backorders.
  • Maintain records for inventory accuracy trends, inventory reconciliations, and fiscal year-end inventory audit.
  • Assist with random receipt audits and advise Purchasing/Supply Chain of discrepancies.
  • Monitor items with shelf life expiration.
  • Identify potential areas for inventory discrepancies and report to management.
  • Work with key personnel to effectively implement process improvements to operational procedures to proactively optimize overall location and item level accuracy.
  • Maintain product identification & traceability.
  • Follow workplace organization, housekeeping guidelines, and safety policies.
  • Assist with correcting material routing and consumption errors.

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Associate degree in Materials, Inventory Management or related field preferred.

At least three years of Warehouse/Inventory experience required, five or more years preferred.

Prior leadership experience in Inventory-related positions strongly preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Advanced knowledge of receiving, shipping, packaging, warehousing, and inventory management procedures required.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Windows based software, material issuance, and inventory tracking required.

Ability to prioritize, work in a fast paced environment, handle multiple tasks, and work under time constraints.


Ability to communicate effectively, in both written and verbal formats, using spoken and written English.

Ability to manipulate multiple SAP t-codes simultaneously.

Skills to effectively supervise and motivate direct reports.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Basic mailroom/shipping equipment and materials.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
