Main Objective:
Manage all aspects of human resources and employee relations for Arthrex Manufacturing Inc-South Carolina’s (AMI- SC) operations. Work with the Director of HR and the AMI- SC Management team in planning, development, implementation and evaluation of HR activities.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage and implement strategic HR projects and initiatives.
- Responsible for processing all Human Resources transactions.
- Be a resource for the leadership of (AMI-SC) regarding human resources topics/compliance and assists in the strategic development and planning processes.
- Work with Corporate Human Resources to initiate the development, implementation, and auditing of policies and procedures as needed.
- Responsible for the recruitment, hiring and orientation of new employees at AMI-SC.
- Manage career fairs, coordination of outside recruitment/temp agencies and to initiate internship programs as needed.
- Lead investigations into complaints of discrimination or harassment.
- Analyze training and development needs and lead the development and administration of training programs.
- Lead in evaluation of reports, decisions, and results of the department in relation to established goals.
- Drive diversity initiatives, employee development, organization review and other key leadership development activities.
- Counsel Managers and employees consistent with company policies/practices, legal considerations, etc. and facilitate resolution of employee relations issues.
- Rollout and drive corporate programs (i.e. Team building, Community Service efforts, etc.).
- Partner with AMI-SC Management team to develop and implement appropriate organizational and people strategies and solutions that align with the business objectives and deliver results
- Ensure fair and consistent application of company policies, practices and procedures that create and maintain a positive employee relations environment and help create the desired culture
- Assist with the management of performance evaluation process and coordination of compensation changes and adjustments for new and existing employees
- Stays current with SC state and federal employment laws and their application to AMI-SC
- Up to 20% of travel required

Education and Experience:
- The Human Resource Manager must have an analytical mind that provides creative solutions to day-to-day problems, and an ability to relate to employees at all levels of the organization. Must possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal and have excellent organization and follow up skills.
- Proven ability to initiate and provide workforce metrics.
- Ability to investigate and bring closure to complex HR issues.
- Strong business technical writing skills and excellent communication/people skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to lead and drive change in a manufacturing environment.
Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:
High level of proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Experience with SAP is a plus.
This position will be for our new Manufacturing site in Sandy Springs, Anderson County, South Carolina. We anticipate opening in 2019. However, we want to train this person in our Manufacturing Plant located in Ave Maria, Florida, prior to opening. We expect this person to be in Naples about 50% of the time between now and when the plant opens.
