Main Objective:

Provides financial analysis, accounting, budgeting, reporting, and problem solving support to various departments, subsidiaries and senior management including analysis of operations expense, accounting & inventory transactions, and application of operational financial controls.  This position will support the Supervisor of Financial Planning and Analysis.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the Arthrex Inc. domestic budgeting process and the reporting of results to budget owners.
  • Review and communicate expense classification with budget owners on an ongoing basis.
  • Assist in development of Key Performance Indicators to enhance operational reporting.
  • Analyze spend detail and identify areas for cost efficiencies.
  • Provide financial data in support of requests from operational departments in a timely manner.
  • Review SAP CO reports monthly to ensure correctness of postings for cost and profit centers, and internal orders.
  • Maintain the Internal Order Request process to ensure proper classification and settlement rules apply.
  • Review Account, Profit Center, Cost Center, Internal Order and other financially relevant SAP master data for appropriateness.
  • Responsible for SAP allocations and assessments for Profit and Cost Center Reporting.
  • Maintain and develop internal and external SAP, BW, TM1 and Planning Analytics reports.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is required; advanced degree or CPA eligibility preferred. 

Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting/financial planning & analysis required; manufacturing experience a plus. Experience in SAP CO Module including Cost Center Accounting, Internal Order accounting, and Profit Center Accounting preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office required.  Experience with IBM Planning Analytics tool (or similar Cognos BI tool) preferred.
