This is a fulltime, summer internship that is not benefit eligible.

Main Objective:

To assist teams with administrative office support and help out on project work.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Scanning – Current returns
  • Scanning Files old records for electronic filing.  Logging the forms in a  spreadsheet, with hyperlinks to the original documents for easy lookup & retrieval
  • Filing Hard Copies
  • Organizing files with the file cabinet
  • Other ad-hoc projects relating to financial reporting & Audit
  • Research Project – Use Excel to list customers that are subject for review, expired or at 100%.  Mail out letters to customers, to get up-to-dat P:\Applications-Job_HR\Temp\Arthrex Internship Approval Form_20180125_SALT.docx e exemption certificates.  Manage responses, scanning backup, forwarding certificates to the data base changes group for updating
  • Project:  Updating the Error Log, summarizing  defects created before & after go live, for easy research and retrieval  
  • Assist SALT team, with researching tax rules, or gathering information as needed for tax audits
  • Financial audit support – status update files and ad hoc audit projects

Education and Experience:

Progress towards a college degree in a Accounting or Finance required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Basic to intermediate computer skills. Be able to follow written and verbal direction.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC; Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook; PowerPoint; Word and Excel. Fax; Scanner.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements.

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
