Main Objective:

To manage the various aspects of corporate security in order to maximize safety and ensure that effective security services and systems are consistently performed and maintained to meet all current and future needs of the corporation.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee development and implementation of a comprehensive security program for the Arthrex Naples campus and remote facilities, to include physical security efforts, management of electronic surveillance and security systems and management of uniformed security force
  • Development and implementation of physical security policies and procedures including the development and delivery of a security awareness and ongoing training program for employees
  • Manage liaison relationship with appropriate emergency response organizations, such as law enforcement, fire department, medical response, etc.
  • Work with other members of the management team to create and maintain a preparedness strategy to combat potential threats and security concerns involving our people or property
  • Coordinate and implement physical security corrective actions and standards including incident reporting with appropriate response measures and follow up
  • Work in conjunction with outside vendors and the Travel and Legal Departments to manage international travel risks and preparedness
  • Must be a strategic thinker capable of handling multiple, concurrent situations and investigations
  • Work with appropriate IT personnel to support information security process standards and to develop procedures that support cyber security policies
  • Up to 10% travel is required.

Education and Experience:

  • A minimum of twelve years of corporate security management or senior law enforcement required; preferably from a corporate/campus environment
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Specialized training in security management, fire safety and crisis management required.
  • Must be able to establish credibility as a business partner with all levels within the organization

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Must be able to continually meet applicable federal, state and county requirements of security personnel or armed security personnel.  Must be able to obtain a concealed carry license if required.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office required.
