Arthrex Manufacturing is currently seeking candidates for the second shift Cleaning Tech positions. This position will work four 10-hour days/week (3:30 pm to 2:30 am) on a rotating crew schedule.  Work location is the Arthrex manufacturing facility in Ave Maria, FL. This position is eligible for a sign-on bonus. If you are hired, you will be eligible for a $500.00 sign-on bonus (minus appropriate tax withholdings) paid after you complete your first 90 days and are an employee in good standing.

Main Objective:

To clean products following Arthrex Manufacturing, Inc. processes and procedures ensuring superior quality is delivered to internal and external customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs terminal cleaning and daily housekeeping utilizing various cleaning and disinfecting agents
  • Performs cleaning of products and components in accordance to work instructions
  • Follows direction and instruction in order to gain departmental competency
  • Completes necessary documentation with accuracy and minimal errors
  • Follows and executes work instructions with minimal errors.

Education and Experience:

High School diploma or equivalent required.

This job requires the ability to perform simple mathematical expression (addition, subtraction, multiplication and division) and comprehension and compliance to written procedures. Six months or less of related work experience is necessary to perform this job.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

Must have the ability to perform tasks by reading, understanding and following work instruction/documents provided. Use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is required. GMP training.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

The technology and the frequency of the technology required to perform the job are as follows; the frequent operation of RAMCO parts washer, and the weighing scale.

Reasoning Ability:

Must have the ability to follow written, verbal, or packaging instructions; several concrete variables.

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above. Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management. Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
