This position will be located at the Arthrex manufacturing facility in Ave Maria, FL.

Main Objective: Lead the analysis, documentation, and management of business requirements throughout the project lifecycle and ensure that requirements are fully understood by the technical team before solutions are designed and implemented.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitors, analyzes, and implements necessary changes in manufacturing resource utilization which include in-sourcing and/or outsourcing of components and finished goods. 
  • Creates demand modeling scenarios based on changes and new product introductions to simulate infrastructure performance and understand future resource needs. 
  • Plans and forecasts for future inventory levels based on sales forecast, current inventory levels purchase orders
  • Establishes appropriate inventory levels for components and finished goods
  • Works with other departments, such as manufacturing and supply chain, to ensure optimization of inventory level
  • Maintains service levels with minimum inventory
  • Participates in new product introductions to analyze impact on demand and capacity
  • Monitors finished goods inventory levels for product line and makes necessary adjustments to safety stock and open orders to achieve desired inventory goal
  • Works closely with Manufacturing Engineering and shop floor to improve production efficiency
  • Works closely with Master Schedulers to establish delivery sequences to departments according to job order priorities and anticipated availability of material
  • Establishes and maintain key performance indicators related to capacities, on-time deliveries, and inventory levels. 
  • Collaborates with Planning to assure adherence to policies and best practices
  • Assists in establishing S&OP process.
  • Leads and manages requirements gathering and analysis activities by working with stakeholders and internal/external customers.
  • Elicits, captures, analyzes, refines, articulates and documents business requirements
  • Manages requirement changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Balances business requirements with technical feasibility and sustainability
  • Collaborates closely with commercial partner
  • Establishes and maintains agreements between team members on requirements
  • Ensures that appropriate project documentation is produced throughout the product lifecycle
  • Collaborates with Finance to ensure accuracy of reporting
  • Works with Program Manager to support insourcing activities
  • Creates and owns master data file for Business Unit
  • Occasional travel for training, meetings or trade shows may be required.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; preferably in Supply Chain or Engineering field.
  • 4+ years of relevant industry experience.
  • SAP experience required.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Ability to perform analytics favoring data visualization. 
  • Ability to negotiate with outside vendors and suppliers.
  • Ability to lead meetings and projects.
  • Full working knowledge of materials management systems.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

Experience working with project management software, QA software and Microsoft Office Suite.

PC spreadsheets, computer software.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.  Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Ability to comprehend and apply mathematical principles to the degree required to perform the job based upon job requirements. 

Language and Communication Skills:

Ability to comprehend and apply language skills to the degree required to perform the job based upon the job requirements listed above.  Ability to verbally communicate ideas and issues effectively to other team members and management.  Ability to write and record data and information as required by procedures.
