Main Objective:

This position will operate within the Field Operations Unit to ensure manageability of the operations planning process at the Corporate, Regional and Distributor levels. The Analyst- Field Operations will facilitate the gathering and aggregating of inventory levels, collaborative demand forecasting, demand and supply planning, the development of forecasts and logistical plans, and capital analysis.  This role must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using qualitative and quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working in small teams on projects, effective communication to teams and other leaders, reviewing and understanding sales/financial data and identifying usage trends in the business line. A successful Analyst- Field Operations must possess and demonstrate strong analytical and communication skills.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supply and demand operations planning and forecasting
  • Assist with the preparation of capital utilization; forecasts and reports on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis
  • Develop, maintain and improve databases housing the information to run the business
  • Participates with the preparation and analysis of month and year-end by reviewing actual vs. budget/forecast variances
  • Prepare and publish daily, weekly and monthly reporting metrics supporting the business lines
  • Promptly and accurately respond to ad hoc reporting requests of our internal partners
  • Assist with day to day logistical activities required to ensure product is available to meet customer demand and maintain operational effectiveness
  • Analyze and qualitatively review data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Gathering required raw data for forecasting, planning and logistical management

Education and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Supply Chain required.
1 year related experience working in an Operations Analyst capacity preferred

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC proficient, ability to use different database applications, strong MS office skills, especially Excel.
