Main Objective: This position will operate within the Field Logistics Services and Field Operations team to ensure consistent and manageable consignment inventory levels at all Arthrex Agency locations and monitor inventory transactions to ensure compliance with all Field Operations policies and procedures in order to minimize inventory issues. This role will also assist when needed with Agency inventory transitions or terminations and answer questions for members of the FLS team to resolve agency consignment inventory issues. This role must possess a high level of analytical ability to distinguish multiple components of a problem and develop conclusions using qualitative and quantitative skills. Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to, working in small teams on projects, effective communication to other teams or leaders, and prepare, review and present essential reports and data for the Supervisor and Manager of Field Logistics services as well as other managers within the Field Operations team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Manage aspects of the Arthroplasty Expired Policy and Sports Dx Inventory control policy including the retrieval of expired or soon to expire field inventory.
  2. Process billing associated to the expired inventory in the field and monitor compliance by agencies.
  3. Create and maintain detailed reports to be presented monthly and quarterly to monitor the expired policy and implementation.
  4. Analyze Agency Inventory transactions to ensure compliance with all Arthrex and Field Operations Policies.
  5. Analyze Agency Inventory on hands prior to the transition/termination process to ensure that the Agencies follow the Arthrex procedure for the return of any product to Arthrex and identify any issues and complete the transfer and billing of all consignment inventory and instruments.
  6. Analyze and troubleshoot inventory data submissions and communicate with agencies if not valid or acceptable.
  7. Communicate updates to Manager, Field Audits or Manager, Field Logistics Services in regard to any inventory issues with the transition/termination process.
  8. Process all annual Agency Physical Inventories/Reconciliations and investigate and resolve inventory issues.
  9. Ensure accuracy when updating Agency Inventory in SAP and provided detailed reports for the Agency and the Manager, Field Logistics Services and the Manager, Global Field Operations.
  10. Assist new transitioning Agencies to ensure smooth transition of inventory and introduce Arthrex protocols/procedures for Arthroplasty, DX, and Sports Medicine and provide guidance and support to the owner and office personnel.
  11. Continue to suggest methods of improvement in terms of reporting, analyzing, and monitoring of Agency consignment inventory.
  12. Analyze and qualitatively review data and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness and present and review reports with leaders within the Field Operations Team.
  13. Prepare and publish daily, weekly and monthly reporting metrics supporting the Field Operations Team

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 2 years of financial or business analyst experience preferred.

Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training:

  • Moderate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
  • Strong analytical and multi-project skills. 
  • Strong customer service skills/problem solving skills.

Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills:

PC, Database, Office equipment.
